How We Review Our Content
Health-related content deserves a higher bar than the average blog post. Here’s exactly how content on this site gets researched, written, and checked before it’s published — so you know what you’re reading and where it came from.
1. Source-first research. Every claim about symptoms, causes, exercises, or recovery timelines is drawn from reputable, publicly available sources: professional physiotherapy body guidelines (e.g. APTA, CSP, WCPT), peer-reviewed research summaries, and established patient-education resources. We don’t generate medical claims from AI tools or guesswork.
2. Written by a human, checked line by line. AI tools may be used for research assistance or outlining only. Every sentence that gets published is written and reviewed by a person, checked against the “sounds like AI” test, and rewritten if it doesn’t hold up.
3. Accuracy check against the source material. Before publishing, each article is checked against the sources it draws from to confirm nothing has been oversimplified, exaggerated, or misrepresented in a way that could mislead a reader.
4. Clear scope, every time. Articles are written to inform — not to replace a diagnosis or a treatment plan from a licensed physiotherapist. Where relevant, articles point readers toward seeing a practitioner rather than self-treating based on an article alone.
5. Kept current. Content is revisited periodically and updated if guidance changes or inaccuracies are found.
6. Transparent authorship. Every article is attributed, and our author’s background and role in producing this content is disclosed on our About page — not hidden behind a generic “Staff Writer” byline.
